Our Story
It Began With a Plot, Not a Plan.
The story of Macrosense does not begin in a boardroom. It begins with a soldier. Rajbir Singh Maan served in the Indian Army infantry for nearly two decades. When he took early retirement, he did not slow down. He moved into public service and took a job at a bank, and kept working.
Through that work he became eligible for a loan, and he used it to buy a plot of land in RK Puram, Delhi. The plan was simple: build a home where his family could live. The plan changed on its own. People saw what was being built and asked to buy. The flats sold. One honest project had turned into a way of earning a living, and Macrosense was founded in 1987.
He built the company the way he had served: with discipline, with patience, and without shortcuts. He built what he could build well, finished it, and moved on to the next.
In 1993 his son, Sudhir Maan, took on the leadership of the company. Under him, Macrosense kept building across Delhi NCR. Sudhir ji leads the company’s land and major financial decisions to this day.
The third generation, Arjun and Karan Maan, now carry the work forward. Arjun leads operations, procurement and project delivery. Karan leads architecture and design. Four people, three generations, one standard.
Today Macrosense is a self-funded builder and developer. We buy land with our own capital, design in-house, build in-house, and keep the majority stake in what we make. We take on a small number of projects in selected A-grade sectors, because we would rather build fewer homes and build them properly.
What has not changed since the RK Puram plot is the reason we build at all: every project is treated as if it were our own, because most of the time, it is.
Foundational Principle
“He built what he could build well, finished it, and moved on to the next.”
Established in 1987 in Delhi NCR. Self-funded, family-led, and committed to quiet architectural excellence.
